How to travel to Samoa
Samoa is a three and half hour flight from Auckland and a five-hour flight from Australia’s east coast. Thus, from the 18th of March, there’ll be a nationwide lockdown in Samoa which means that they’ll be limited access to goods as well as services during this period.
Due to the effect of COVID-19, Samoa’s border will be closed to travellers from Australia (i.e., flights to Samoa from Australia won’t be possible at this time)—commercial flights, including repatriation flights between Australia and Samoa, will be suspended. These restrictions are placed by Samoa’s government to fight against the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
